Music & Words

Indie music blog. Their music, our words, in perfect harmony.

The song from somebody else’s heart
Has all the words I’ve forgotten

Word of the day: fallible

1: liable to be erroneous
2: capable of making a mistake

Band of the day: Funky Junction

I’ve learned today that they were “an Irish rock band formed in 1972 specifically to record a single album of songs made famous by British band Deep Purple, which was released as Funky Junction Play a Tribute to Deep Purple in January 1973.” Wikipedia

Some more on the story from Irishrock.org about the Leo Muller connection, the musicians and the album versions.

About Miss Andi

Learning to be unapologetically me but healthier. Shamelessly personifying my dog, Mia, who is my soulmate, though doesn't let me read as much as I used to. One day I'll finish a novel that will not save the world - but might make it smile.
