#30BandsIn30Days: double feature for W

Walking On Cars and The Well have little in common apart from good music: one is an Irish indie band filled with emotions, the other is 6 brothers and cousins from Norway playing good pop music. The link? They both supported The Script on their No Sound Without Silence Tour.

Walking On Cars

Started in: 2010

Hometown: Dingle, Ireland

Released albums: Hand in Hand EP (2014), Everything This Way (2016)

Members:
Patrick Sheehy
Sorcha Durham
Dan Devane
Paul Flannery
Evan Hadnett

Best song in our opinion: I’m very biased coz I totally totally love this band but it IS a hard choice.  But if you only check one song, this orchestra version of their single Speeding Cars is something else.

I had an interview with them in 2014 just after they supported The Script, my very first band interview ever! Read it here.

The Well

Started in: 2006

Hometown: Bergen, Norway

Released albums: only singles so far

Members & instruments: TJ (drums), Andrew (bass), Ollie (guitars), Oliver (keys), Stan (guitars), Freddy (lead singer)

Best song in our opinion: Soldiers is a beautiful ballad, very touching.

In April we’re featuring 30 bands in 30 days as part of the A to Z blogging challenge. I’ve selected the bands from the artists that worked or toured with The Script before – simply because they have a good taste in choosing bands to work with! The posts are written by my regular contributors, some special friends as guest bloggers and myself. Sign up if you’d like to keep in touch via email.

About Miss Andi

Learning to be unapologetically me but healthier. Shamelessly personifying my dog, Mia, who is my soulmate, though doesn't let me read as much as I used to. One day I'll finish a novel that will not save the world - but might make it smile.
