Music & Words

Indie music blog. Their music, our words, in perfect harmony.

I have a new blog! (she says again…)

I often think I’m borderline OCD because I can be pretty specific about things. Like I don’t mind if you put your feet on the sofa or if the glass leaves a ring on the table. It happens, I shrug it off. But I label my ebooks excessively. Saving photos on my laptop you’ll find file names serving as tags so that I can find them later (or so I say). I’m obsessed with digital organising and planning. I usually overdo my excel sheets with colours, functions and pivot tables I don’t need.

And, more to the point, I can’t mix too many topics one blog. Even having books and music here takes me a big effort. Every now and then the desire to split them into separate blogs gets too strong and I have to tell myself, chill dude. (And I hate the word dude. Not keen on mate either.) Relax missy, I correct myself, they can work together well, no worries. And maybe they do but one thing I can’t do is to add another topic here.

Which is why I currently run four, more or less regular blogs. (Check them on my About page linked in.)

My latest baby was my friend’s idea (thanks Marie!) She told me months ago that I needed to write about my newest adventures as an English teacher in Spain. I wasn’t sure at first, wouldn’t it be too much work, I thought, but the seed was planted and it grew and grew until it broke the wall and so now, it became reality. So go, check out My Windy Days as an English Teacher please, it’s so brand new, it’s still shining! (I recommend sunglasses for reading it.) Click here and it’ll take you there like magic lol.

I’m not a perfect teacher and being with kids doesn’t come naturally so don’t worry, it’s not an ode to children kinda blog. If anything it’s “children are what nightmares are built upon” kinda thing. In a fun and loving way of course. (Of course, I said!) πŸ™‚

About Miss Andi

Learning to be unapologetically me but healthier. Shamelessly personifying my dog, Mia, who is my soulmate, though doesn't let me read as much as I used to. One day I'll finish a novel that will not save the world - but might make it smile.

I totally go mad with my excel spreadsheets and digital photos! I tell myself it’s being super organised, and not ocd. πŸ˜‰
